How to Clear Your Browser Cache for HARi

HARi is behaving unexpectedly — stale data, broken layout, or features not appearing after an update. Clearing your browser cache often resolves these issues.

  • After HARi receives an update and you see old UI elements
  • When form fields or buttons appear incorrectly
  • When data appears stale after another user made changes
  • When you see a blank white screen after login
  1. Press Ctrl+Shift+Delete (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+Delete (Mac).
  2. Set the time range to “All time”.
  3. Check “Cached images and files”. You can leave “Cookies” unchecked to stay logged in.
  4. Click “Clear data”.
  5. Refresh the HARi page.
  1. Press Ctrl+Shift+Delete (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+Delete (Mac).
  2. Set the time range to “Everything”.
  3. Check “Cache” only.
  4. Click “Clear Now”.
  5. Refresh the HARi page.
  1. Go to Safari > Settings > Privacy.
  2. Click “Manage Website Data”.
  3. Search for your HARi domain and click “Remove”.
  4. Refresh the HARi page.
  1. Press Ctrl+Shift+Delete.
  2. Set the time range to “All time”.
  3. Check “Cached images and files”.
  4. Click “Clear now”.
  5. Refresh the HARi page.

Instead of clearing the entire cache, try a hard refresh:

  • Windows: Ctrl+Shift+R
  • Mac: Cmd+Shift+R

This forces the browser to reload all resources from the server without clearing other cached data.

If clearing the cache doesn’t resolve the issue, try opening HARi in a private/incognito window. If it works there but not in your normal browser, a browser extension may be interfering. Disable extensions one by one to identify the culprit.
