Track Interactions

Every phone call, email, meeting, and note should be recorded in one place. HARi CRM’s timeline gives you a complete history of all interactions with a contact, company, or deal.

Open any record and scroll down to the Timeline section. Here you will see a chronological list of all activities related to that record:

  • Emails sent and received
  • Phone calls logged
  • Meetings and appointments
  • Notes added by team members
  • Stage changes and field updates
  • Tasks created and completed
  1. Open the contact or deal record
  2. Click the Log Call action button
  3. Fill in the details:
    • Subject: A brief summary (e.g. “Discussed pricing”)
    • Duration: How long the call lasted
    • Direction: Inbound or Outbound
    • Notes: Key points from the conversation
  4. Click Save

The call appears on the record’s timeline with all details visible to your team.

  1. Open the relevant record
  2. Click the Log Meeting action button
  3. Fill in:
    • Subject: What the meeting was about
    • Date and Time: When it happened
    • Attendees: Who was there (link to other contacts)
    • Notes: Meeting notes, decisions made, action items
  4. Click Save

For quick updates that do not fit into a call or meeting:

  1. Open the record
  2. In the Timeline section, type your note in the text box
  3. Click Add Note

Notes are timestamped and attributed to the user who wrote them.

When you send an email from HARi (or when your connected inbox receives a reply), the email appears automatically on the timeline. You can see:

  • The email subject and body
  • Whether it was opened (if tracking is enabled)
  • Whether any links were clicked
  • The date and time of each event

A single interaction can appear on multiple timelines. For example, a meeting with a contact about a deal will show up on both the contact’s timeline and the deal’s timeline. This means no matter which record you open, you see the full picture.
